Euro Live Technologies SIA “Euro Live Technologies” SIA is a company based in Latvia and provides live video stream facilities for the online gaming industry. We are currently looking for:

SENIOR SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

Responsibilities:
• Installation and administration of company’s network infrastructure – switches, routers, firewalls and related equipment
• Responsible for the network level security, network monitoring and network performance
• Responsible for the physical network topology, cabling and patch panels
• Responsible for PBX system
• Installation and administration servers running Windows Server 2008 (including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP), Exchange 2007
• Administration and monitoring of company’s streaming infrastructure (Encoders, Adobe Flash Media Server)
• Administration of some *NIX (Red Hat) servers (MTA, Samba services)
• Responsible for following the backup procedure and off site storaging
• Developing and maintaining documentation related to server infrastructure configuration and provisioning
• Testing and implementation of hardware and software upgrades
• Responsible for the supervising work of IT Tech Support and scheduling

Required skills:
• 5+ years working experience as system/network administrator
• Strong understanding of network transports, protocols, and architectures, routing, TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN solutions
• Experience with Cisco/HP managed switches, routers and firewalls (Checkpoint, PIX or other)
• Experience with Windows XP/2008 operating systems, including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP and Exchange Server 2008
• Experience with UNIX operating systems (Sun Solaris, Red Hat Linux or other)
• Knowledge of telecommunications technologies, PBX systems, and VoIP technologies
• Knowledge of systems management, performance tuning, and monitoring tools
• Experience with backup, restore, and disaster recovery planning
• Knowledge of video streaming, encoding/streaming technologies and Content Delivery Networks would be an advantage
• JAVA, SQL, Visual Basic or some other programming skills would be advantage.
• Familiar with HP and SUN server and desktops hardware and peripherals
• Flexibility to be on call for emergencies and scheduled maintenance 24×7
• Fluency in written and spoken English
